The Frontier XD has been classed as a one and half man bivvy as its footprint is larger and it's taller than the other Frontier Bivvies in the range. This makes it ideal for those of you that go off fishing for longer periods of time in the UK or Europe. The Frontier XD is the only Frontier that comes with the option of an inner dome. When the inner dome is in place the internal dimensions are similar to the Frontier X Bivvy. The inner dome will help those unwanted bugs and animals out especially in the warmer months when you want to leave the front open to maximise airflow.

Fox has been secretly developing over the last 5 years a new bivvy range called the Frontier. They say they have left no stone unturned in the development of this bivvy which they are hoping will be the ultimate bivvy for the carp angler. 

  There are three different sized bivvies in the range, The Frontier, Frontier X and Frontier XD. All three bivvies are made using the ever-reliable khaki coloured Ven-Tec fabric with a blackout laminate lining that's light and extremely waterproof with a 20,000mm hydrostatic head. 

   The frame is made from lightweight Aluminium with moulded keyed elbow joints to ensure the frame lines up perfectly. The frame is held together using a unique boss at the top that makes the bivvy quick and easy to erect.

The bivvies have four camo mozzy air vents that allow greater airflow in the warmer month and increased light when open and these can be opened from inside. The flat back of the bivvy allows you to use all the room inside creating more space for your kit or you can push your bed right up to the back without wasting space. There are four internal mesh storage pockets, two at the front and two at the back that are ideal for putting valuables in so they don't get lost or even your receiver. The is also a central hanging loop that comes in handy.

  The bivvies come with a heavy-duty groundsheet with a unique door entry flap to help keep your groundsheet clean. When entering the bivvy with the flap open you won't be getting dirty shoes or boots on the groundsheet.

  They also come with heavy-duty cam lock storm poles and storm cord eyelets with cords which are stored in the peg bag for if the weather turns for the worst.
